Some of us have a tendency to fidget, and when we don't, it can feel quite frustrating, as if we're about to 'lose our marbles'. But when we do, it can also be distracting to those around us. I've been pondering the idea of creating fidget jewelry that is both elegant and satisfying. Then, I came across a jar of marbles my husband found in his mother's attic, and the idea for this ring was born. It can be discreetly flipped to the underside of the finger for continuous movement using just the thumb. The marble rolls in various directions, making minimal noise that can be easily masked by speech or ambient noise. The marble is securely held in place within a carefully crafted bezel, with a small hole for water drainage and to prevent dirt buildup. Currently, I only have green marbles, but I'm on the lookout for more second-hand marbles in various colors and patterns. The ring setting is crafted from 100% recycled silver (.925 & .999).
